In comparison, the world marveled at the 14.6-carat "Oppenheimer Blue", which Christie's successfully auctioned for over $57 million in 2016. Kadakia's ambitions for "Blue Royal" are lofty, as he optimistically remarked, "We hope it will beat the Oppenheimer".
